Crock Pot Pot Roast

Pot Roast (Crock Pot)

1 large onion quartered 
3-4 pound chuck roast 
1 bag of baby carrots 
1 bag of celery
1-2 pound potatoes (peeled and cut into 1/4's 
onion powder
garlic powder
salt 
pepper
1 packet of beefy onion soup mix
2 packets of brown gravy 
box of minute rice

          Cut vegetables, season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Put in the bottom of crock pot.
          Season meat with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, put on top of veggies in crock pot.
          Mix soup mix and gravy together with 4 cups of water, pour into crock pot. Put enough water to fill half way
          up sides of meat (another 1-2 cups) 

          Cook on low for 8 hours. 
          Cook rice according to package directions
